Why give?
-
✽
It all began with an idea. My parents instilled in me the importance of expressing gratitude and respect to every veteran we encountered, regardless of location or circumstances.
-
✽
Throughout the years, I have had the honor of welcoming numerous men and women, exchanging firm handshakes, and conveying sincere gratitude for their dedicated service and sacrifices.
-
✽
I have encountered numerous individuals and heard remarkable stories from both young and old. These narratives, often shared unknowingly by veterans, have significantly influenced my perspective and deepened my appreciation for the country we collectively call home.
-
✽
At that moment, I resolved to move beyond personal possession of these remarkable stories and begin sharing them with the nation and the wider world.
-
✽
With this vision, I initiated the VOICES OF VALOR PROJECT—a platform dedicated to allowing these courageous men and women to share their experiences with the citizens they valiantly served and protected.
-
✽
My mission is to share as many stories as possible, funded personally. However, if you feel inclined to support this project financially, both I and the courageous men and women featured would be sincerely grateful.

FAQs

My passion for writing combines with the raw and emotional words from these brave men and women. I will share their story on our Instagram page (@vovproject) in multiple posts to help the story flow better. Each post will feature an image of the veteran or a sound clip of them telling their story. To show our appreciation, we provide a “thank you” package that includes a t-shirt and coffee mug - along with a donation under their name to a ministry of their choice along with a matching donation from the VOICES OF VALOR PROJECT.
-
That is a hard question to answer due to multiple factors. On average, including donations and all, each story costs about $500 or more if there is extensive travels involved. This includes the time to write each story, the donations, the “thank you bag”, photography, and editing time.

Of course you can! We want to hear about our veterans and their stories no matter what! We plan on having an “Honor Guard” department of the project that focuses on our brave heroes that are no longer with us.
